For this test, you need to drop 1 mg of your sample, and the color should be observed at 15 minutes. After that time, the color will begin to fade and darken, making it difficult to interpret the results. If you're testing a pill, grind it into powder. For a 10 mg tablet, about 1/8 of the pill (roughly 1 mg) is sufficient. The test is calibrated to detect small amounts, so adding more than the recommended amount will affect the results.

Both the timing and the quantity of powder are crucial for accurate results. While the test is very reliable, it requires the sample to be properly dosed.
